Angular Contact Thin Section, A-Type unsealed thin section ball bearing is made from 52100 steel and utilizes a snap-over cage design made of brass or composite material. This bearing is designed for applications with primarily radial loads, and is manufactured to ABEC 1F precision tolerances.

Thin-section angular contact bearings are designed for supporting axial load .They can also used to support radial or combining radial traction .But this type can't solely used to sustain moment load or reverse radical forces. They always appeared in pairs.
